9 Sep: Arrive at Cape Town International airport. and transfer to private luxury accommodations. Enjoy an authentic African welcome dinner. 

10 Sep: After a light breakfast, we depart for a peninsula tour including Chapmans peak, Cape Point, Boulders Beach (Penguin colony). Enjoy a lunch in Kalk Bay Harbour and a visit to Table mountain (weather permitting). Dinner this evening at The Grand Beach Cafe. 

11 Sep: After a light breakfast, we depart for full day wine tour stopping at a Lebanese restaurant for lunch. In the evening, enjoy a sunset boat cruise and a surprise dinner at home..

Community Outreach

12 Sep: After breakfast and an early morning checkout, we transfer to Cape Town airport for a flight to Hoedspruit (2h30min). We then transfer to safari lodge (open to Kruger) and enjoys an afternoon safari.

13 Sep: An action packed day with safari drives and a visit to the local community for an outreach project.

14 Sep: This morning, perform hands-on volunteer work as you participate in a life-saving Rhino conservation project, followed by an afternoon safari.

15 Sep: Enjoy another experience of a lifetime as we participate in an elephant conservation project, fitting a tracking collar to assist with their ongoing scientific work. This afternoon, enjoy another safari game drive followed by dinner at the lodge.

16 Sep: After a morning safari, we will take an afternoon flight to Johannesburg and check in at a hotel for a good night’s rest.

Botswana

Makgadikgadi Salt Pans

17 Sep: We take a morning flight from OR Tambo to Kasane, Botswana, We will check in at the lodge and enjoy lunch followed by an afternoon river safari then dinner.

18 Sep: We will enjoy an early morning vehicle safari through Chobe National Park. After brunch, we will check out and take a road transfer south to the Makgadikgadi Area. We will stop somewhere for lunch (*not included) the arrive at Eco lodge in the afternoon. Experience an exciting elephant encounter followed by dinner. 

19 Sep: Enjoy a liesurely breakfast and free morning then depart to Makgadikgadi Salt pans after lunch. This evening, we have the unique experience of dining and sleeping out under the stars in the middle of the Pans, with nothing around for miles.

Zimbabwe

20 Sep: Morning breakfast snack and lunch on the go as we transfer north and clear the border crossing to Zimbabwe,. We arrive at Victoria Falls and check in at the lodge. Enjoy a sunset cruise on the Zambezi river followed by an African dinner.

21 Sep: Visit the breathtaking Victoria Falls after breakfast and then lunch at the scenic lookout (*not included). The afternoon will include a safari drive and an educational experience with the local anti-poaching unit followed by a lodge dinner.

22 Sep: After breakfast at the lodge, enjoy a free morning to pack and relax before heading off for your flight to OR Tambo - followed by you connection to International flights home (flight home not included).

April Howland has been been a professional artist for over 15 years. Inspired by nature and animals, April’s primary focus remains steady in her thriving wildlife series and domestic animal portrait business.

As she travels the globe from Alaska to Africa for inspiration, April’s eye for composition and design combined with her love of color enables her to create rich and unique art pieces. Her one of a kind style is a successful blend of contemporary and realism. She uses a variety of materials to accomplish her works but her methodology remains consistent. “To me, each piece of art is a beautiful learning experience with amazing shapes and tones working together to tell a story.”

April has been featured in a variety of publications and television news programs for her artwork which include Phoenix Home & Garden, Uptown Magazine, Images Magazine, Voyage Magazine, Scottsdale’s Foothills Focus, The Arizona Republic, PBS Horizon Arizona, Phoenix People, The Barking Beast San Diego and many local NBC, FOX and ABC news programs. April has many collectors both national and abroad and when she isn’t in the studio you can find her raising money for the Africa Foundation helping to support conservation and sustainability and also at the Phoenix Zoo as a committee member and co-founder of the “Art on the Wild Side” program that supports the zoo’s mission in conservation and caring for the natural world.

Susan Richey

Susan Richey is an award-winning photographer/digital artist that specializes in stock imagery designed for the marketing needs of the animal and travel industries. Her work can be seen in publications and on products around the globe.

Susan has developed two separate bodies of work that portray her passions and compassion in unique ways. 

Her domestic animal stock photography library features fun, whimsical, and conceptual images of thousands of different pets. Most of the animal models used in her work were photographed through her Good-Focused Photo Program which was developed as a way to help animal welfare organizations to find fur-ever homes for pets by providing them with high-impact photos that give adoption ads greater visibility.

Her wildlife photography library features both documentary style and creatively composited images that are representative of her wanderlust spirit, awe of nature, and devotion towards animals of all kinds. A portion of proceeds of sales through this brand’s direct website are donated to various wildlife and nature conservation organizations worldwide through her Good-Focused Donation Program.
