Upon returning from my trip to Lilydale, South Africa in 2018 and seeing the change that a bit of fundraising can make, I decided to do it again. But this time, I was going to go BIG!
The Howland Studios Kitchen Project was developed in an effort to raise funds for the development of kitchens in the schools of communities in rural areas of Africa with the assistance of Africa Foundation (USA).
Back in 2011, I set off on my first journey to Africa with the eco-tourism company &Beyond. During this safari, I had the opportunity to go on a local community visit with a representative from Africa Foundation (USA) to tour schools, orphanages and medical centers. It was here that the seeds were planted for what has now grown to become Adventure Artists International.
